A day in the life of a Project Management Process Lead
After a nice chat at the coffee machine with some colleagues, you will make a quick stroll around the office and production facility to see how the projects are progressing (daily stand-up or build meeting), check-in with colleagues, and obtain feedback on the processes and ways of working.

With a strong network on the working floor and a real-life understanding of how things are going, you work on your vision for Lightyear’s project management processes laid out in the PMO way of working roadmap which you manage.

After a good lunch, where there is always the opportunity to catch up with colleagues, you present a new concept for an improved status reporting process using graphics you prepared earlier in the week. In a fruitful discussion, some improvement points were found but all stakeholders are happy with the concept and approve further refinement and implementation. In the late afternoon, you work on answering some emails after which you spend some time further working out a process improvement.
