What will you do as a Corporate Recruiter?
We have a Recruitment Team of 12 people, active in different disciplines, which focuses on engaging & hiring A-Players for both today and tomorrow. While the majority of our time is spent on full cycle (E2E) recruitment, we truly believe that Recruitment is about proactively building and exposing our Employer Brand in order to engage with talented people all over the world.

We are in the midst of significant growth and the need is there to expand our Recruitment team even more, so we’re looking for a Corporate Recruiter eager to join our team! While you’re equipped with solid knowledge about the global labor market and a strong desire to understand a complex and high-paced business like ours, you’re able to find the talent to comply with our highly demanding business.

While you’re responsible for full cycle recruitment you understand the needs of highly skilled and talented people and you’re able to convince them in an honest and transparent way (people first) to join us on our mission.

As a Corporate Recruiter, you are in touch with the best people from all over the world. You conduct interviews with suitable candidates together with relevant stakeholders to really go in-depth to make sure it's a match made in heaven. You help us evolve as an organization and you have creative ideas to build an impressive candidate experience. Given your responsibility your role will consist of but is not limited to;

  • Full cycle recruitment, you do whatever it takes to attract and hire the talent we’re looking for, whether that’s proactively sourcing candidates or making use of your network
  • Manage the E2E process. Starting with designing the vacancy, getting it out there and generating an influx, pre-selecting candidates, conducting interviews, including the business, guiding the business, and negotiating with candidates
  • Making sure candidates experience a personalized and unique candidate journey
  • Partnering up with hiring managers and other stakeholders from the business to align on (future) recruitment demand
  • Building and maintaining talent pools as part of our domain-driven approach
  • Keep in close contact with recruitment partners. When of added value, you will find the partners to increase our hiring velocity
  • Coming up with creative ideas to give substance to our five core values; Be Bold, Take Responsibility, People First, Think Independently and, Deliver the change.
  • Contributing significantly by coming up with creative ideas to attract talent for both today and tomorrow 

What do we expect from a Corporate Recruiter?
In order to succeed in the dynamic world of Lightyear; pro-activity, professionalism, communication, and adaptability are crucial. We are looking for people with an ambitious attitude, who learn from the past (tried and tested), and who strive to set new standards when needed. You can work within a team or independently. You are flexible and can work under pressure. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with:

  • a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of HR, Marketing & Communications, Psychology, or related.
  • you have a strong desire to understand complexity. Driven by your curiosity you want to grasp what we do. As seen from there, you’re able to translate this towards your stakeholders (both business & candidates)
  • you’ve gained several years of experience in a similar role, an interest and experience in the world of finance and/or business-related roles is seen as a tremendous plus
  • excellent people skills (a sixth sense helps....)
  • strong communication skills (proficient in both Dutch and English).

  • availability between 32 to 40 hours per week
