What will you do as a Projectmanager Automotive?
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Projectmanager to lead and manage key accounts with OEMs. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning to execution, while maintaining strong relationships with our clients to ensure their business needs are met. You will drive and mature the team around project management
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate projects with major clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and timelines.
Close collaboration with the sales team through the project initiating stage
Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM accounts, managing relationships and fostering long-term partnerships.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, deliverables, budgets, and schedules, to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Monitor project progress, proactively address challenges, and implement solutions to meet client expectations.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones, providing clear direction and support.
Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders, including financial reporting and risk assessments.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and change requests with OEMs, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams to align project goals with Lightyear Layer's strategic objectives and sustainability initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing best practices.
What do we expect from a Projectmanager Automotive?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on OEMs or large corporate clients, preferably within the automotive or sustainable technology sectors.
Ability to be effective in a startup environment.
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing client relationships at a senior level.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall) and software tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
